Begin With the Right Blueprint

Creating and delivering effective presentations is in many ways like building a house. It starts with a blueprint which defines the foundation, overall structure and flow of the house, which in turn defines what materials will be needed.

Home blueprints have many of the same elements; a kitchen, dining room, living room, bedrooms, baths, etc. How these elements are combined is what distinguishes a Colonial style home from a Cape Cod, Tudor or Victorian style.

Question & Answer sessions offer you a great opportunity to add additional insights, reinforce your main points and tie your presentation to the specific situation of those attending. As an interactive session it is also a place where you can create rapport with people in the audience.

In a presentation covering your products and services, questions can often reveal "hidden issues" that you must deal with before closing the sale or getting the go-ahead for a project.
